Keiandra Jones has been my mother's caregiver for the last 10 years.
She is dependable, trustworthy, and such a hard worker. She goes the extra mile to make sure my mother is loved and cared for. She helps my father with anything my mother needs. She has shown up at family functions to help care for my mother so my father can get a break from his full-time caregiving duties. She comes on the weekend, at night if we have a family event and my mother needs a caregiver.
She is strong and manages to get my bedridden mother out of bed by herself. She does physical transfers that I cannot complete as a nurse practitioner with 30 plus years of nursing experience nor my sister who has been a physical therapist for over 25 years. She comes on holidays, she comes in inclimate weather, she comes when she is tired and she gives her all.
I truly believe her love and care as my mother's caregiver has allowed us to keep my mother home and extend her life with her end stage Alzheimer's. She is a blessing to my family and would be a blessing to yours.
Keiandra has been the Home Care Aide for my mother for over 5 years now.
Even though I live out of state, she communicates with me regurally keeps me abreast and in the loop about my mom's progress, her needs, and any new observations regarding my mom. She makes recommendations for any changes needed in her care and any clothing or equipment needs.
She has always conducted herself in a professional and respectable manner. In life you have friends and you have family and you have friends that become family. Keiandra has become family to us.
At my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary, my father lovingly referenced her “ The real hero of our family.”
These past 10 years have been very difficult seeing sweet Mom deteriorate mentally due to Dementia. However, having Keindra present to joyfully, consistently, faithfullly and lovngly provide excellent to our Mother has made all the difference. Sometimes God doesn't take you out of the storm, but he sends his angels to walk you through the storm. My family will be externally grateful for God sending this angel to us.❤️
